MYTREE extends support towards Kerala & Kodagu Flood Relief

MYTREE in association with local NGO’s in Kochi and Kodagu are driving a relief effort delivering food, medicines and basic essentials.
God’s own country Kerala has experienced the worst rain of the century with thousand homeless, hundreds killed and many struggling to meet the basic essentials including medicines. Kodagu district in Karnataka bordering Wayanad district of Kerala experienced incessant rain and has been badly affected by landslides and road collapse thus affecting rescue and emergency operations. However during the last couple of days relief operations are in full swing in both Kerala and Kodagu as rains abated and life limped back to normal.

Mytree has extended wholehearted support and has been generating funds through it’s members and friends. In it’s 1st phase our volunteers spearheaded by Mrs. Sudha Anilkumar in Kochi and Mr. Srikanth Bangera in Mangalore has met with local NGO’s, evaluating the ground realities they have purchased and contributed by buying basic food and medical essentials (Rice, Wheat, Toast, Biscuits, Milk powder, ORS, Tarpaulin, Health & Sanitation kits, Water, Sanitary napkins, Babies diapers, Undergarments, Blankets) and making sure it reaches to the farthest areas. We are also helping food and medical relief camps in Kochi set by Rotary club.

The second phase of the campaign is to assist the people of kerala and kodagau in their rehabilitation and medical support.

MYTREE offers its heartfelt gratitude to its members and donor friends for supporting this campaign. The volume of destruction has extended beyond thousands of Indian crores in both these states. We with our local NGO partners have decided to extend our support further.

You can support and contribute to this campaign by sending your donation to our bank account. Donations are accepted through your Indian Bank account only, please mention “Kerala & Kodagu Flood Relief” in remark while doing online transaction.
